Park Maintenance Aids Needed

City of Union is still accepting applications to hire seasonal staff for the summer within the park system.

The City’s parks will need to be maintained during spring, summer and fall. The department is looking to hire seasonal part-time park maintenance aids to assist with keeping the park grounds clean and presentable for guests. Position will require field prep, mowing, trimming, trash pick-up and janitorial duties. Possible work hours include weekday, weeknight and weekend hours. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and hourly wage is $9.00 per hour.

Patrolman
 

The Union Police Department has an immediate opening for the position of Patrolman. Candidates must be POST/CLEE certified, 21 yrs of age, possess a GED/High School Education, a valid Missouri drivers license.

Salary Base starting at $48,441 (42 hour work week). Generous benefits.

Street Maintenance Worker

The City of Union is seeking a team-oriented Individual for the position of Entry Level Street Maintenance Worker in the Public Works Department.  Starting hourly rate will be $14.78 an hour with a generous benefits package.  Applicant must have high school diploma or G.E.D. CDL driver’s license preferred but will consider training a qualified applicant. Applicant must have an acceptable driving record and pass a pre-employment drug test and physical.  Able to operate heavy equipment of various sizes a plus.
