City Park

Address: 500 West Park Avenue

The 6.1 acre park is located at the corner of West Park Avenue and North Christina Avenue. Amenities include bathrooms, four (4) rentable pavilions and gazebo, picnic shelters, playground, Liberty Swing, swings, lit walking trail, three (3) baseball fields, benches, basketball courts, tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, outdoor exercise equipment, water fountains, dog waste stations and parking lots.

Liberty Swing is a swing designed for individuals that can enjoy swinging while in a wheelchair. This addition was added to the City Park in 2009. A key is necessary to operate the swing. For th

City Lake
Address: 502 Clark Avenue

The lake is located on the corner of Clark Avenue and Memorial Parkway. Amenities include 4-acre ADA accessible stocked lake, accessible floating dock, two (2) rentable pavilions and gazebo, swings, lit walking trail (.3 mile loop including along Clark Avenue roadway), benches, outdoor exercise equipment, water fountain, dog waste stations and parking lots.

 

MDC_How_to_Release_Trout
Union City Lake angler regulations for specie with daily limit and length limit are as follows:
1) Largemouth Bass, daily limit: 2, length limit: 18” minimum
2) Catfish, daily limit: 4, length limit: none
3) Trout from November 1 – January 31 is CATCH & RELEASE ONLY; NO TROUT may be possessed!
4) Trout from February 1 – October 31, daily limit: 4, length limit: none
5) All other fish, daily limit: statewide, up to 10 in the aggregate, length limit: none

*November 1 through January 31 - only 1 pole/person; artificial flies and lures ONLY; no natural or prepared baits.
*February 1 through October 31 - maximum of 3 poles/person may be used; no restrictions on bait; must stop fishing for all species after having 4 trout in possession.
*Pole and line fishing only
*No live bait may be taken.
*Frogs may be taken during the statewide season by hand, handnet, gig, or hook and line.
*All anglers age 16 through 64 must have a permit.
*Anglers must have a trout permit to possess trout.

Address: 401 Clark Avenue

The 13.8 acre park is located at the corner of Clark Avenue and Autumn Hill Drive, across from the City Lake. Amenities include bathrooms, picnic shelters, playground, asphalt and natural walking trails, benches, 11-hole Autumn Hill disc golf course, water fountain and parking lot (located at the upper entrance located at 310 Autumn Hill Drive).

Clearview Park
Address: 1051 Clearview Drive

The 22.82 acre park is located at the junction of Clearview Drive and North Bend Road. This park has great views of the Bourbeuse River with a natural walking trail through a secluded forest.

 

 College Hill Play Structure

College Hill Park
Address: 651 College Meadows Drive

The .4 acre park was built in 2009 and is located at the corner of College Meadows Drive and Prairie Dell Road. Amenities include picnic shelter, playground and swings.

The park is located at the corner of Jaycee Drive and Memorial Parkway. Amenities include bathrooms, one (1) rentable pavilion, two (2) baseball/softball fields, horseshoe pits, water fountain and parking lot.

The .23 acre park, sponsored by the Union Garden Club, is located at the corner of West Main Street and North Christina Avenue. Amenities include gazebo and picnic shelter.

Hoffert Park
Address: 101 Hoffert Street

The 1.88 acre park is located at the corner of Hoffert Street and Betty Lane. Amenities include picnic shelter, playground and swings.

K-9 -n- Kiddos Park
Address: 226 North Christina Avenue

The 2.23 acre park was built in 2013, as Franklin County's first dog park, located near the corner of North Christina Avenue and College Avenue. The doggie area includes two separate fenced areas; one for large dogs (over 25 lbs) and the other for small dogs. Each area has a set of agility equipment, water spigots, drinking buckets and waste stations. Rules for using the dog park are posted on the premises. Amenities include picnic shelters, playground, swings, two (2) sand volleyball courts, water fountains, dog waste stations and parking lot.

Rotary Park
Address: 100 Memorial Parkway

The 2.0 acre park is located at the corner of Memorial Parkway and West Park Avenue. Amenities include one (1) rentable pavilion, benches, playground, swings and minimal parking.


Soccer Park
Address: 10 Union Village Shopping Center

The 10.5 acre park is located off Highway 50, in front of Dickey Bub Farm & Home. Amenities include soccer fields (seasonally) and minimal parking.

Softball Complex
Address: 620 East Park Avenue

The 7.04 acre park is located near the corner of East Park Avenue and North McKinley Avenue. Amenities include bathrooms, picnic shelters, playground, two (2) softball fields, concession stand (seasonally), water fountain and parking lot.

Veterans Memorial Park
Address: 600 Progress Parkway

The 43.8 acre park held the ground breaking ceremony on July 1, 2013. The multi-use park is located at the corner of Veterans Memorial Drive and Progress Parkway. In Spring 2017, the new park was officially opened to the public. Amenities include splash park, bathrooms, one (1) rentable pavilion, picnic shelters, three (3) playgrounds, partially-lit walking trail (.9 mile loop), five (5) baseball/softball fields, three (3) soccer fields, concession stands (seasonally), water fountains, dog waste stations and parking lots.
