Damage Reports
The City of Union keeps records on property damage associated with severe weather, flooding, and earthquakes. This report will be used to report damage to State and Federal agencies. The information is used only as data collection and help with mitigation and preparedness for future incidence. The city of Union does not take any responsibility for damage or reimbursement for any damage.
We would appreciate your cooperation in collecting this information. It is strictly voluntary.

Speakers and Programs
The Union EMA can provide speakers for weather related issues, flooding, and earthquakes. We will talk about emergency kits for cold weather emergencies, extended electrical outages due to weather and disasters. If you would like someone to come and speak at your event please contact Earl Neal at emgdirector@unionmissouri.gov or all 636-744-8406.
Throughout the year we will hold information programs for the general public on topics of emergency preparedness. Check our website for scheduled events.
NOAA Weather Radios
NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards (NWR) is a nationwide network of radio stations broadcasting continuous weather information directly from the nearest National Weather Service office. NWR broadcasts official Weather Service warnings, watches, forecasts and other hazard information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Working with the Federal Communication Commission's (FCC) Emergency Alert System , NWR is an "All Hazards" radio network, making it your single source for comprehensive weather and emergency information. In conjunction with Federal, State, and Local Emergency Managers and other public officials, NWR also broadcasts warning and post-event information for all types of hazards – including natural (such as earthquakes or avalanches), environmental (such as chemical releases or oil spills), and public safety (such as AMBER alerts or 911 Telephone outages).
NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio
Every citizen should own, or be near an active, alarm-ready Weather Radio. That's not always possible, and this one example is sufficient: Millions of folks work in situations where Weather Radios aren't available, but computers and mobile devices are handy. NOAA Weather Radio ORG is a community project of concerned Personal Weather Station owners, weather website owners, and numerous other entities. NOAA Weather Radio ORG is volunteer maintained and is NON-Commercial.
