Wellness Classes

Lifeforce Fitness offers a variety of wellness classes, including Yoga, Cardio Fitness, and Total Body Conditioning. Pre-register at the Parks & Recreation Department Office, located in the Lower Level of City Hall, at 500 East Locust Street, Union, MO 63084.

All wellness classes are held in the department's aerobic room (unless otherwise noted), located in the Lower Level of City Hall, at 500 East Locust Street, Union, 63084. Participants should enter the side door located near the corner of Linden St. and E. Springfield Ave.

Pre-registration is required by calling Park Office at 636-583-8471. Complete waiver and make payment one (1) week before class starts. Click to view/print program participant waiver form!

Morning Yoga
The postures allow you to gain flexibility, tone your muscles, and enjoy the flow of breath within your body.  Develop a mind, body, and spirit connection and awaken yourself to a more relaxed and efficient lifestyle. No previous experience required. Bring your own mat. 

Mondays, 9:30-10:15 AM; $55.00 per session (6 classes)

Morning Fitness
Combinations of Cardio-dance, general skills activity, games, and movements to improve muscle balance and flexibility are included in this fun and easy class. Designed to improve general fitness levels and promote a happier mood. Come move and groove to motivating music and get your fun on.  This workout is suitable for all levels of fitness and no previous experience required. Open to men, women, and teens.

Stretch & Strength
Improve your flexibility, strength , relieve back and joint pain. Work on posture and balance, while learning stretches you can use with any workout! This class is suitable for all levels of fitness and is open to men, women, and teens. 

Tuesdays, 11:00-11:45 AM; $55.00 per session (6 classes)
January 12 - February 16, 2021

General Fitness
Open to men and women, and teens. This class is designed to strengthen and stabilize your muscles, develop balance and range of motion utilizing your own body weight, body balls, gliding discs, step platforms, medicine balls and exercise tubing.

January 12 - February 16, 2021

Intro to Yoga
This introductory class is designed to teach the yogic breath (pranayama), focus or gaze (drishti) and warm ups (Sun Salutes). Your introduction to these basics will allow you to better enjoy your yoga practice and gain the most from your efforts. This is a great introductory class for anyone wishing to begin a yoga practice, or even just deepen your current practice.

Yoga 
Learn how to apply yoga into your daily life. The postures allow you to gain flexibility, tone your muscles, and enjoy the flow of breath within your body. Develop a mind, body, and spirit connection and awaken yourself to a more relaxed and efficient lifestyle. This class will include the theory of Yoga plus exercises, breathing techniques. Previous experience strongly suggested. Bring your own mat.

Lifeforce Fitness also offers water aerobics at the Splash -n- Swimplex during the summer.
