Wellness Classes


Lifeforce Fitness offers a variety of wellness classes, including Yoga, Cardio Fitness, and Total Body Conditioning. Pre-register at the Parks & Recreation Department Office, located in the Lower Level of City Hall, at 500 East Locust Street, Union, MO 63084.

All wellness classes are held in the department's aerobic room (unless otherwise noted), located in the Lower Level of City Hall, at 500 East Locust Street, Union, 63084. Participants should enter the side door located near the corner of Linden St. and E. Springfield Ave.

Pre-registration is required by calling Park Office at 636-583-8471. Complete waiver and make payment one (1) week before class starts. Click to view/print program participant waiver form!

Morning Yoga
The postures allow you to gain flexibility, tone your muscles, and enjoy the flow of breath within your body.  Develop a mind, body, and spirit connection and awaken yourself to a more relaxed and efficient lifestyle. No previous experience required. Bring your own mat. 

Mondays, 9:30-10:15 AM; $50.00 per session (6 classes)
October 28 - December 2

Kardio Kick
Kardio Kick is a fast-paced workout packed with punches and kicks that will get your heart pumping. High-powered moves will build your confidence while making you sweat. Work your way to a healthier and stronger you. This workout is designed for all levels of fitness. Come join us for this fun and empowering kick butt workout!!

Mondays, 6:30 - 7:15 PM; $50.00 per session (6 classes)
October 28 - December 2

Yoga 
Learn how to apply yoga into your daily life. The postures allow you to gain flexibility, tone your muscles, and enjoy the flow of breath within your body. Develop a mind, body, and spirit connection and awaken yourself to a more relaxed and efficient lifestyle. This class will include the theory of Yoga pus exercises, breathing techniques. Previous experience strongly suggested. Bring your own mat. 

Tuesdays, 6:30 - 7:30 PM; $50.00 per session (6 classes)
October 29 - December 3

Core Strength & Stretch
Improve your core strength, relieve back and joint pain. Work on posture and balance, while learning streches you can use with any workout! This class is suitable for all levels of fitness and is open to men, women and teens.

Wednesdays, 6:30 - 7:15 PM; $50.00 per session (6 classes)
October 30 - December 11 (no class 11/27)

Morning Dancer-cize
Get ready for weekend-fun in this upbeat class. Combinations of cardio-dance movements with some muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility thrown in for good measure. All performed to motivating music of course! Come get your fun on. This class is suitable for all levels of fitness and no previous experience required

Thursdays, 9:30 - 10:15 AM; $50.00 per session (6 classes)
October 31 - December 12 (no class 11/28)

Total Body Conditioning
Open to the entire family, this class is designed to strengthen and stabilize your muscles, develop balance and range of motion utilizing your own body weight, body balls, gliding discs, step platforms, medicine balls, and exercise tubing which will be provided. This class is suitable for all levels of fitness. 

Thursdays, 6:30 - 7:15 PM; $35.00 per session (4 classes)
November 7 - December 5 (no class 11/28)

Lifeforce Fitness also offers water aerobics at the Splash & Swimplex during the summer.
