Lifeforce Fitness offers a variety of wellness classes, including Yoga, Cardio Fitness, and Total Body Conditioning. Pre-register at the Parks & Recreation Department Office, located in the Lower Level of City Hall, at 500 East Locust Street, Union, MO 63084.

Yoga in The Parks
Come explore the beautiful parks that Union has to offer. Bring your mat, water bottle and possibly an old rug, sheet or blanket to place under your mat. Be sure to wear sunscreen and bug protection.

Adventure Out Playground
noClass is adaptable for all fitness levels and is open to the entire family. A continual mix of methods including: anaerobic circuits, explosive intervals, pyramid training, sports conditioning, strength and endurance. This will help boost the metabolic rate. Class will be held outside when possible using items surrounding us in our everyday lives. Come join us for an invigorating and adventurous playground workout! Meet at City Park Large Pavilion, located at 575 W. Christina Ave.

Total Body Conditioning
Open to the entire family, this class is designed to strengthen and stabilize your muscles, develop balance and range of motion utilizing your own body weight, body balls, gliding discs, step platforms, medicine balls, and exercise tubing which will be provided. This class is suitable for all levels of fitness.

The postures allow you to gain flexibility, tone your muscles, and enjoy the flow of breath within your body. Develop a mind, body, and spirit connection and awaken yourself to a more relaxed and efficient lifestyle. No previous experience required. Bring your own mat.

Learn how to apply yoga into your daily life. The postures allow you to gain flexibility, tone your muscles, and enjoy the flow of breath within your body. Kardio Kick is a fast-paced workout packed with punches and kicks that will get your heart pumping. High-powered moves will build your confidence while making you sweat. Work your way to a healthier and stronger you. This workout is designed for all levels of fitness. Come join us for this fun and empowering kick butt workout!!

Get ready for weekend-fun in this upbeat class. Combinations of cardio-dance movements with some muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility thrown in for good measure. All performed to motivating music of course! Come get your fun on. This class is suitable for all levels of fitness and no previous experience required

Intro to Yoga
This 2-week class is designed to teach the yogic breath (pranayama), focus or gaze (drishti), and postures (asanas). You will be introduced to these basics to better enjoy your yoga practice and gain the most from your efforts. The warmups will also be introduced (Sun salutations). This is a great introductory class for anyone wishing to begin a yoga practice, or even just deepen your current practice.

Core Strength & Stretch
Improve your core strength, relieve back and joint pain. Work on posture and balance, while learning streches you can use with any workout! This class is suitable for all levels of fitness and is open to men, women and teens.
